Housewarming!

The housewarming was a roaring success! Really had fun meeting up with my relatives, old frens and loved ones! So glad that all our efforts, staying up till 1-2am almost daily the week before to clean up, paid off handsomely! =) We were also abundantly blessed with gifts, wine, vouchers and cash and I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all who made time to grace our house with their presence! =)

Here's a montage of our nest! Very happy to get many positive comments and feedback. Many people said the place was COSY and I am glad we were able to create a sense of warmth for all! Everybody's favourite room was the guest room cum game room cum chill out room. Somehow our red sofa bed was super popular too! When the Sony guys came by to install the TV, one of them was asking us where we got the bed too! For the record, we got it from Marina Square, King Koil. They have lots of colours for you to choose from.


Think the kids all had lots of fun too... Joann was dancing around, Jayden strumming the guitar, Calvin trying his hand at PS3 and Henry fiddling with magnets.

Short Update

In the words of Er, there are already cobwebs on my blog! Yup... but it has been a hectic period with wedding prep and other stuff. So many things under the carpet now that I really dun know how to update.. well, in that case, let's look forward to what's happening and really HAPPENING very soon!

First up. The housewarming. Many people have asked me why is the housewarming before the wedding and before we move in? Well, my short answer is the house needs some warming up before we move in! The long answer is we kinda want a nice end to this major project called GETTING MARRIED when the wedding dinner rolls around. And we finally get to go on a well-deserved break and just relax and enjoy each other's company without thinking about suits, shoes or sofas.

So anyways, the housewarming is this Sat and Sun and quite excited as it will be a good time to gather our loved ones and get them excited about the upcoming wedding. Shall post the photos of the event, promise!!
