Mt Sorak National Park [Korea]

One of the reasons we chose to visit Korea during October was it would be Autumn Season and we heard the greenery was especially beautiful during this period!

After a hearty breakfast at the resort, it was time to take our coach bus to Mt Sorak!

The place was placed with tourists and locals!

The Koreans are really into hiking, especially the older folks! They really come prepared in their hiking gear!

Following will be lots of scenery pics so just sit back, relax and imagine yourself taking a nice leisurely stroll through the national park, breathing in the fresh cooling air…

Rocks, rocks and more rocks!

This is a funny picture!

People shots a-plenty!

Kinda tired after all the walking but happy =)

People from all over the world write out their well-wishes on these grey slates.

Really pretty coloured leaves!

There were little street stalls selling toys and food.

Corn nice or not? What do you think?

That marks the end of our little hike into the Seoraksan National Park =)

Water & Fire [Korea]

It’s been some time since I last blogged about Korea. Will continue my adventures virtually since I can’t physically go on a holiday as yet!

We stayed a nite at Hanwah Resort. I wouldn’t quite call it a resort, it was more like the Pasir Ris Chalet we are all familiar with. But it was an experience as there were a lot of locals holidaying too so it din feel so touristy!

Our room came with a kitchen and even a washing machine! Seems very homely right?

The highlight of the resort is the Seorak Waterpia, which is a water park. By the time we reached the resort, it was evening time so that wasn’t much time to enjoy the waterpark other than soak in the hotsprings.

Din take much pics cos we were all soaking wet! Had fun!

Then it was time to fill our tummies with hot pot!

After dinner, we played with fireworks! It’s my first time playing with such fireworks!

The pictures aren’t so clear so check out the below video instead! Our side comments are quite hilarious!
